Maintaining health is a complex system to master. In order to stay healthy your body needs to be able to get rid of waste. If your body cannot eliminate this waste, then your body becomes toxic. To eliminate these toxins the body has seven different ways of elimination.
Once you understand the seven ways of how your body eliminates waste materials from your body, you are more able to control your own health.
Liver – Your liver is what metabolizes your food. It filters toxins and converts nutrients necessary for other parts of your body. The liver stores vitamins, sugars, fats and other nutrients from our intake of food. It also breaks down harmful substances like alcohol and other toxins. The liver also removes waste products from our bloodstream.
- Lungs – We breathe in oxygen, and exhale waste in the form of carbon dioxide – simple. Without oxygen, we die – simple also. To get maximum use of our lungs, exercise is the best treatment you can give it. Smoking, on the other hand, is the absolute worst thing you can do for your lungs – again…simple.

- Blood – Your blood is what transfers needed substances throughout your body. It also transports substances for elimination from the body. Blood transports oxygen from the lungs when we inhale and transports waste carbon dioxide to our lungs for us to exhale.
- Skin – Our skin is the largest organ in our body. Skin regulates heat by sweating. Sweating is one of the best natural means we can do to eliminate toxins from our bodies. This is natural detoxification at its finest. Infrared saunas are the best way to accomplish this type of body cleansing
- Colon – This is obvious and also vital for good health. This is the main way that our bodies eliminate waste material (fecal matter) from our bodies. Drinking plenty of fluids, especially water, is one of the most beneficial methods to maintaining a healthy colon. However it may not be enough. This is where a good colon cleanse may become necessary.
- Kidneys – Kidneys are where urine is produced. As with the colon, drinking plenty of water will help to maintain a healthy kidney and ensure elimination of body toxins.We have about a 10 percent chance of developing kidney stones during our lifetime. Kidney stones can be very painful.
